Tierrasanta
Tierrasanta, which means “holy land” in Spanish, is a picturesque community in San Diego, California, known by locals as “The Island in the Hills.” This unique nickname reflects its secluded nature, with only four roads leading into the community, each ending within its boundaries. Tierrasanta offers a rich array of amenities centered around the Tierrasanta Recreation Center, which features lighted sports fields, a large swimming pool, tennis courts managed by the Tierrasanta Tennis Club, a gymnasium, and meeting rooms. The community is also home to numerous green belts with walking paths that wind through scenic canyons, maintained by the Friends of the Tierrasanta Canyons. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy easy access to Mission Trails Regional Park, with an entrance and parking available at the eastern end of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. The southern edge of Tierrasanta features the Admiral Baker Golf Club, offering two courses with priority access for active duty and retired military members, while also welcoming civilians from nearby areas. Although Tierrasanta has seen limited new construction in recent years, its mature real estate market offers opportunities for renovations and remodeling, allowing residents to customize their homes to fit their preferences.Sorry we are experiencing system issues.
